My name is Raji Oyinkonsola Favour, and I am an 18 year old from Nigeria. I recently graduated from secondary school, and I am a kind, caring, and open minded person who enjoys connecting with people from different backgrounds. I have always had a strong interest in languages, cultures, and learning about how people live around the world. I am currently learning Spanish and German because I enjoy discovering new languages and communicating with people from different cultures. I would describe myself as a compassionate, curious, and open-minded person who finds joy in connecting with people and understanding their stories. I have always been fascinated by the experiences that shape people’s lives, especially those of older generations, because I believe every person carries valuable lessons, memories, and traditions that deserve to be heard. I am someone who enjoys creating a warm and positive environment around me. My interests include learning languages, discovering different cultures, reading, cooking, and playing volleyball. I love languages because I see them as more than just words; they are a way to understand people, their history, and their way of thinking. I enjoy learning about different cultures because it reminds me that although people may come from different backgrounds, we all share the same desire for connection and belonging. My experience as an Au Pair and Home Share companion would be an important chapter in my personal growth. After this experience, I hope to continue my education and use the skills I gain, such as independence, communication, cultural awareness, and caregiving, to keep working toward a future where I can positively impact people's lives. I also hope to carry the memories, friendships, and lessons from my host experience with me wherever I go.
