Hi there, I am a 30 year old from South Africa and currently living in the Netherlands as an au pair to a 7 month baby and 4 year old girl. In addition to my normal duties learnt previously as an au pair in America for 2 years, and working for a school as an intern I was responsible for taking care of the children, assisting with homework, driving them to extra mural activities, preparing lunch and spending time entertaining them with games. I used to look after 4 wonderful girls aged 5, 7, 10 and 11 year old. My previous duties at The school involved but were not limited to assisting in classrooms (sometimes share a lesson), sports which includes hockey and soccer assistant coach, and of course boarding house duties which include waking up the girls, putting them to bed, entertainment, making sure they are safe and secure by providing a big sisterly love and care support. I also assisted in the special needs department where I spent some of my “free time” being with them in the classroom and also outside.
