I am a twenty-year-old female student living in Cape Town, South Africa. I am currently in my final year of a Politics and Psychology Bachelor's degree. I am hoping to take a gap year in 2021 because I have been in academia for my whole life and am ready to take a break for travel and self-growth, so that I can consider my postgraduate studies and the rest of my future. I feel that being an au pair would allow me to immerse myself in a different culture and environment whilst interacting closely with local people, such as my future host family! I am excited by the prospect of France being the place where I get to do this, I fell in love with the place after I participated in a high school exchange programme in 2015 where I was hosted by a family of 5. Going abroad again for a different experience with another family is definitely something to which I am looking forward. I love intellectually enriching experiences and hope to share my passion for learning with your children!
