ANDREA, 22 JAHRE

Dear host family,

I’m currently 18 years old and would love to spend some time with a family this year. I speak German, English, Spanish and Swiss German fluently and a little French. I consider myself a happy, responsible and organized person.

I am a member of a family of five. I have a younger sister (10 years) and an older sister (25) years. My family moved from Switzerland to Costa Rica in 1996. I have both nationalities. We go visit our family and friends living there every year and love to spend time around Europe. I have also visited France, Germany and Austria. I graduated from a german school (Humboldt Schule Costa Rica) in 2018 and I’m currently on my last year to also graduate with the Abitur (Germany’s highest high school degree). I will be graduating in November. In 2017 I went to Germany as an exchange student for a month and stayed there with a host family. In 2018 I did the same thing in New York for two weeks. Both of those exchanges were organized by my school.
My little sister and I spend a lot of time together and I loved taking care of her since she was born. We play a lot together and always have a good time.
I have played the piano for 6 years and absolutely love it. Riding bike around the city is my favorite thing to do in the summer. I also love to go out with friends and enjoy new experiences. I like to step out of my comfort zone to try new things out. My favorite sports are jogging, pilates and volleyball
