DEBORAH, 23 JAHRE

Dear Family, my name is Deborah. I am 17 years old and turn 18 in February. My friends and family describe me as a very caring, empathic, reliable and funny person. I grew up in the UK, my mother tongue is English, however I have been living in Switzerland since I was around 8 years old. I like keeping myself busy at all times and learning new things is a very important part of my life. In my free time, I enjoy reading and find great creative release in playing the piano. Giving back to society is a passion of mine, I dedicate time in visiting an old folks home annually and am a leader in the youth team at church, responsible for social works.

***About me***
I have significant experience in childcare. I have completed a babysitting course and babysit regularly here in Zurich. Furthermore I have many young cousins and often have to take care of them. I have looked after kids in all age ranges, from newborns to 15 year olds. A typical day when I am with the kids, would be me waking them up, getting them ready, eating breakfast, bringing them to school, picking them up, making them a snack, playing or watching a movie with them, making them dinner and tucking them in bed. Your childrens safety and overall wellbeing is my top priority.

***Why do I want to be an AuPair***
I wish to come back to the UK, as I miss it a lot, while doing something meanwhile. As I adore kids and get along with them really well, I thought being an AuPair in London would be a perfect opportunity for me. I speak German fluently, it is my second language, I would gladly teach German to your kids too :) After being an AuPair I would like to start working in the UK preferably, as a nanny or caregiver for example, as I feel like helping people is my purpose.
