SULANI, 23 JAHRE

Dear Host-family :)

my name is Sulani and I would like to describe myself with this letter :) I always loved the idea of living and working in a foreign country and I am really excited that it could become reality soon.
I live in Thailand, together with my Family. My dad's nationality is Swiss and my mom's nationality is Indian, i have a younger sister aged 10 and a brother aged 7. This summer I graduated high school, I finished my IGCSE Cambridge examination. And for a few years now it has been my dream to be an Au-pair before I start university because first of all I love to take care of children and spend time with them. Secondly I am very interested in getting to know different cultures and languages. That´s the reason why I travelled to many countries in the last few years. I already studied French for 7 years in Lycee Francais in pondicherry (India) but I would like to improve my German skills further and have the language present in my daily routine.
Now more about me :)
My friends would describe me as a cheerful, outgoing person who is also very reliable and independent. To me it´s extremely important to stay active especially outside. Things I like to do are swimming, hiking and playing basketball,Volleyball,Tennis,batminton. Another hobby of mine is reading books.
My experiences in childcare involve different tasks. At my school I was responsible for a group of children and planning a program with different activities for them. I have been doing that for two years now and I always enjoy the excursions and games we do together.
Also i spend time with my brother and sister by helping them with homework, taking them to the playground and read bedtime stories. We played a lot. I would babysit my siblings when they were young when my parents weren't home So my duties included feeding them and putting them to bed, but I loved to spent time with them and do handicrafts or other things they would like to do.
At home I often help with housekeeping to support my mother.

I kindly inform you that I am living in swiss and been a aupair for a family for 6 months taking care of the kids , hause and also some farming but now I’m doing my internship as a kindergarten teacher but I would love to babysit for a few hours on the weekends .
