ELLA, 26 JAHRE

Hello!

My name is Ella Nordstrand and to be an au pair has been a dream for a long time for me and now the time is finally here. When I was 19 I adopted a puppy from Romania I found during a trip there and my whole life changed. She was my best friend and really helped me during some tough times, but sadly she passed away in May 2020. This made me reconsider my life and pick up some old dreams and being an au pair is one of them.

I love kids and really looking forward to my own. Both my mom and grandma have worked in the field and that kind of inspired me too. Another dream is to become a preschool teacher, but I would like to do this before that.

The best about working with kids is to see their personality grow. How they learn new things and I was a part of it. I love that feeling, I feel important. Even I grow just by working with them. They are inspiring. I like being challenged and I don’t believe in ‘’bad kids’’ they just need more guidance.

I lived with a host family for one week before and that short time made me curious about how other people live their life. My first time traveling outside of Sweden I was 16 and that made me realize how much I love it. Different cultures and perspectives of life really fascinate me.

My favorite things to do in my spare time are reading, watching movies, being in nature (raised by the woods and sea), and doing creative things. I like photography and painting.
