Dear host family,

My name is Quennie from the Philippines. Age 23. I am not married and I don’t have any children. I am deeply interested in working for you, and hope you will give me a chance to be your family´s au pair.

Here is some of my personal information. I studied Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I worked as a volunteer nurse at Salvador General Hospital for 6 months. I completed a CPR and First Aid training and I believe such knowledge is important for an Au pair and can be a life saver in case of an injury or accident.

I am presently employed as all around house maid. My core function here will be taking care of the kids, I help the family in the mornings prepare their snack and lunch, fetch the kids and help them to do their school home works and other stuffs. Aside from this, I also do the household chores such as cleaning the house, tidying, organizing, washing, ironing & folding clothes and cooking, washing the dishes, and playing the kids. In the evening I prepare dinner. I also help to clean the table after dinner. I also help the kids to keep their room tidy by put in proper place all their toys and books.

I believe I would be the perfect fit for your family, as I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for an Au pair. I work well with other people.

As your spare pair of hands I hope I will be welcome to your house and willing to introduce to me your culture and that I consider you as my host family, as I am certainly look forward to become your au pair.
