Dear Future Host Family, I hope that everyone is doing fine amidst this pandemic. I believe that life must go on no matter what it takes. And I think that’s one of most famous traits of being a Filipino, being resilient and persistent. I am born in the Philippines, grew with my grandparents and being raised well. By the way I am Nathalie , 27 years of age, Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Operations Management. I am writing this letter to you because; I am very much interested and willing to be part of the Cultural Exchange Program. I participated voluntarily on children’s fair; we do fun games, feeding program, storytelling from the bible, medical mission and a lot more. We also have outreach program on different villages and do children’s camp, boys and girls missionary challenge and from there we have performances such as dancing and playing instruments, we also have sports camp and a lot more. I usually join blood donation drive, community services, clean and green program-planting mangroves and trees and clean-up drive and alike. Managing children are not new to me since I have a lot of cousins and I had the chance to take care of them. I know it’s not easy handling them, but because I love learning from children I take it as an opportunity to grow. If I will be given a chance to volunteer in doing children’s welfare and all, I am very much willing and I know it comes along with a responsibility but I am prepared for it. I want to become an Aupair because I can be an elder sister to your kids and I know that becoming a big sister is both an opportunity and a responsibility. It’s an opportunity simply because I can share what I have-my skill, my talent and my values too. I believe that we should always be a great impact to other people’s lives-to encourage, inspire and become a great blessing. On that note, we are all responsible for each other. So in taking good care- people, young, old and regardless of ethnicity and race, we must do our part so that at the end of the day, we both become the best version of who we are and this world would become a better place to live in. Aside from that I want to immerse myself with new culture, to discover new places and to build new relationships. I am an honest and reliable person. I am quick to understand instruction and can easily adapt to the new environment. And I am a person who is very passionate, dedicated and committed to the welfare of the children. I love to travel to different countries since I am an adventurous person; I’ve been to Macau, Hongkong, Singapore and Bali Indonesia. I love hanging out with my family and friends we watch movies, we dance and we sing a lot even though we know that we are not good in singing. In my past time I work out and jog around the area. Again I am Nathalie, loving, vibrant, brilliant, a responsible woman since I was the only child, so I do a lot of stuff at home, do the dishes, washing clothes, cooks, gardening and a lot more.
