Dear host family, My name is Mervin from Philippines. I’m 24, single with no kids. I have years of experience with childcare due to my nephews. I’ve been their babysitter since they were born and we live together. They are now 4 and 7. I feed them, bathe them, and play with them. We would do activities together like coloring books, reading, drawing cartoon characters and physical games like playing ball and tag game. In terms of household chores, I can do laundry, ironing, vacuuming, cleaning and organizing. I’m not a good cook but I can prepare simple meals and can also follow recipes. I am flexible and independent. I can adjust to any situation with good manner. I am adventurous and likes to try new things. I enjoy watching documentaries and movies. I’m also into outdoors activities like biking, strolling, and hiking. I would love to learn and experience other cultures and traditions and meet new people to welcome each other as family.
