Dear Host Family, thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I am Michelle Marie Calihat from the Philippines. 26 years of age. I'm currently working as a call center agent here in my country for 4 years now. I love my job. I get a chance to know the culture of the Americans and it also helps me enhance my communication skill. I live by myself after I finished college. I graduated as a Computer Science but I didn't pursue this program for some reason. I decided to separate from my parents at a young age because I want to be an independent person and learn how does life works. I was not scared to separate them because I know if I fail they will always be there for me simply because we are FAMILY. I am very family-oriented. I support them financially since I got my first job up until now. I will do everything just to give them a comfortable life. I am a sporty person. I used to play softball for 8 years during my high school and college. I'm into music. I can play guitar. I'm still learning the piano. I can read books but not a book lover. I love to cook especially Filipino foods. But I would always love to try and learn about other cultures. It makes me excited. And it’s one of the reasons why I decided to apply as an Aupair. I would be glad to experience this with you!
