SHERLOU, 29 JAHRE

Dear Future Host Family, My name is Sherlou, 26 yrs. old and currently living here in the Philippines. I studied Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Yes, my professional background is not a hindrance with my passion to care, love and teach kids. As a Filipino, we are known for being Family-oriented, I value the time I always spend with my loved ones and people around me. I have a big family tree which I gained my childcare experiences from taking care of my younger sibling, cousins, and nephews/ nieces (ages from infant to 18 yrs. old). I also helped my parents look after my younger brother since birth, now that he is a grown teenager I just give him the emotional & moral support that he needs. I'm open-minded and adaptable. I will be aware of my responsibilities or to the task because I'm mature and reliable. At an early age, my parents taught us how to look after ourselves, to be responsible and help around the house from cooking, cleaning, laundry and the like. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I do enjoy my alone time (eating, grocery/ shopping, visiting places etc.) and also enjoy the time being with my family, relatives and friends. I love taking photos of sceneries. I love singing and do some pencil sketching that I know will influence the kids in a good way. I speak an intermediate level of English and basic knowledge in Deutsch/ Dutch/ Danish/ Swedish and would love to further my knowledge in any of those languages or learn a new one. I would like to create a new life experience, that I know will contribute to my passion towards self-improvement and also to help kids finding their ways by means of helping them discover more about themselves as well. I'm a person who loves being around kids and know how important it is to provide them individual attention. They always motivate me to become a better version of myself and that's something I've learned while being around them. I love witnessing wonderful "firsts", how they develop and learn new things every day. And knowing that you're part of that is a very rewarding feeling. I want to be part of your wonderful family.
