LYRA, 28 JAHRE

I am Lyra Mhay Caberto Barril, 25 years of age, and I was born and raised in the Philippines. I am working as an English teacher here in Bangkok, Thailand, for more than two years now. I teach kids from K3-G6, ranging from 5-16 years old.

I am the second child in our family. I have four siblings, my older sister, Abegail, and three younger brothers, Karel, Kenneth, and Winston. My mother is Luzviminda, a housewife, and my father is John, a woodcarver. As a second child, I learned how to take care of my younger brothers at a very young age. I also did babysit my cousins, nephews, and nieces back then. At the age of 16, I stayed with my cousin. I helped her with the household chores (clean, cook, and do the laundry), and took care of her four children, including a new-born baby for more than a year. After that, I also worked as a tutor and a babysitter in the city.

I know I have a high sense of responsibility, and I am a hardworking person. I am also flexible, active, kind, trustworthy, and reliable.
