I have seen on the internet and social media about au pair and I’m interested to be one. I believed this will help me grow as an individual and self-fulfillment as this will help me. to get out of my comfort zone by living in another country that is very different from the Philippines. I would like to apply as an au pair and wanted to know what are the things that I need to do in order for me to get this cultural exchange opportunity. Just a short introduction about me is I finished a Bachelor’s Degree Holder in Psychology so I know how to interact with people with different behaviors not just only because of my degree but because of my work experiences. I’m currently working as a Recruiter for a global recruitment firm and been doing recruitment for a BPO and Professional Services for almost 10 years now so I believed that my interpersonal and social skills will be suitable here. Aside from that, I have 4 nieces since I’m living with my family and I can assure you that I know how to take care of kids and socialize with them. Also, I’m a transgender woman but I think this would not be a hindrance to have this opportunity but probably will help me more as I’m living my own truth, fun to be with and I’m strong enough to face the world.
