Dear Host Family,

I am very interested to be your family’s au pair. I would love to help your busy family in your daily routine and to take care of your children, your house and pets if you have any.

Let me first introduce myself, I am Alyn Joy, 22 years old from the Philippines. We are 5 in the family, my father is a farmer and my mother is a plain housewife. I have two older sister and I am the youngest. We have a simple and happy life here.

I am the kind of person who is dedicated in work and giving love to children. I can easily develop good relationship with people around me. I am open-minded, with sense of humor, happy, friendly, outgoing and responsible.

I want to work as an aupair because I want to experience living in Europe, study your language and learn your culture.

My present job here is as a domestic helper and at the same time a babysitter of two kids who are both girls. My primary and most important responsibility is the safety and wellness of the kids during the hours that the parents are away from home.

I undertake various tasks like wake them up every morning, bathe, dress and groom, prepare meals and snacks for them, feeding them, changing diapers, prepare milk bottles, help with homework, deliver and pick up from school, organize activities such as games, we also go to play ground and parks for them to play with other children and getting the kids ready for bed.

I also do the household duties. These include the following: Go to wet market to buy goods. Prepare and cook family’s breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keep all the rooms clean and tidy. Dusting all the part of the house, sweep and mop floors, washing dirty clothes, iron and fold clean clothes, change bed sheets, bed covers, pillow cases and towels.

I am very willing to begin working with your family as per the date you required.
