I am Annjanette Joyce Balisbis. I am 25 years old and I am from Philippines. I'm currently living in Oman because of my work as a waitress. My father works as a seaman and my mother is a housewife. I have one sister and she's 19 years old. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

I wanna be an Aupair because I wanna experience Cultural Exchange. I wanna learn new things and that includes your language and how you live on a daily basis. I wanna try living in Europe since I've been living in the Middle East for 4 years already. I wanna share to you Filipino Culture and traditions in return. I believe that the experience I'm going to gain will be useful in my chosen path. It will help me to improve my skills in hospitality and dealing with foreign people.

I never experience being an Aupair or being a nanny but I’ve been always fond of kids. At a young age I know how to take care of a child since I have 1 sister. We never had even 1 nanny before and my father is always away from us so there's only me and my mother in our house. I used to look after her whenever my mom has to do something. I always sing her lullaby during night time. I even taught her how to walk before. My recent experience was taking care of the child of my cousins whenever they're busy and has to run some errands. They always left their kids in our home so I used to play with them, make them some cookies and watch their favorite movies like Tom and Jerry or sometimes going out in the mall with them. I like kids because they're giving us happiness. They relieve our stress from our daily endeavors. They can make us smile from their simple giggles. Above all, they are very innocent and soft hearted and they don't need much to be happy. You just have to give them time and it's fine with them. About elderly care, I used to take care of my grandpa before when he was still alive. Whenever my grandpa had to go out to buy something she always asked me to come over to be with my grandpa since my grandpa that time lose his vision because of diabetic and even during last moment of his life I was there in the hospital with my grandma as his watcher. So I can say I also have a bit experience about elderly care. Household chores isn't a problem with me since I've been living abroad for years now and I've been doing all things on my own. From cooking to cleaning. I can do all chores.

I’m just living a simple life. I never live a luxurious lifestyle because we were taught by our parents to always be humble and thankful for what we have. I just wish that I would be given the chance to grant my simple wish. That’s all.
