Dear host family,

Greetings!

I would like to express my great interest about cultural exchange program and open to learn new culture. I am confident that I not only possess everything necessary for the role but also believe that it would be a great opportunity for me to further develop my skills and boost my personal development.

My name is Kristine, but you can call me Tine. I’m 22 years old, single, and currently living in Davao, Philippines. I finished my bachelors degree in Medical Technology last March 2019. We are 4 in the family. I have 1 older brother and I am the youngest. We live in a peaceful place close to city and lots of green sceneries. We also have pets, 4 friendly dogs. I am mature independent person who grew up in a simple life surrounded with happy and loving people.

My personality is very simple with so much respect and trust. I know how to deal with the demand of others and can handle with pressure. I am not really a religious person but very spiritual. I am also an outgoing person, creative, caring, patient, very organized, responsible, open-minded, hardworking and very passionate in work.

My hobbies are playing sports, baking, traveling, singing and dancing (not good on dancing, only serve as my stress reliever).I can play instruments like guitar, piano, ukelele, kalimba but all in basic. I like to spend my free time in nature (taking pictures), biking, eating, and playing with kids. It gives me joy and peace of mind.

My experience includes being a customer service representative. I spoke with a lot of people with inquiries about their accounts. I do also had previous experience as Phlebotomist in a private laboratory here in our city. I had my first aid training cause I do believe that it is important to know what to do especially with emergency cases. As of now, I help my cousin to take care of her sweet and loving baby girl. I am very passionate working with kids and nurturing. I treat them as my own kids and help them in everything. I know how to get their attention, calm, and comfort them when they feel sick or upset. As a child grow, they need guidance and support to encourage and foster their development. It is quite challenging but very fulfilling knowing that you teach/help them in every aspect of their lives.

I might not have a certificate or attended any childcare training programs but I strongly believe that I will be a big help in your family. I know how to cook/prepare meals (basic meals) and do house chores (cleaning, washing dishes, laundry and ironing) because my family trained me as early at the age of 8. I can help you in your family daily routine, look after your kids, and contribute to your different social activities.
