JOAN, 31 JAHRE

I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.


My name is Joan Tadem Palaca. I am 27 years old and from the small island in the Philippines. With my parents brother,sisters and aunt I am living in a house that is located in an area full of nature. My father works as a carpenter and a farmer, my mother is a housewife ; but when we were young she used to babysit kids. Overall, we are a pretty large family.


I would describe myself as a well grounded ,caring , adventurous and honest person , who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends as well as my family. Most especially i am there to help them.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, dance or Singing. Singing is one of my favorite hobbies and I am also teaching young children specifically young Chinese at a school in Cebu Philippines.


At the moment, I work as an ESL tutor ;I am teaching English to young Chinese, Taiwanese and Japanese kids. I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with many of my students.

Four years ago I graduated University with the degree of AB English Major in Applied Linguistics. I was a self supporting student. with my own support I graduated in college.For the past ten years, I took care of children of all ages from different families. I became very close to them and I adore the time I have spent with them. When my brother and sisters were younger, I also took care of them, when our mum was working. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around.

The reason why I want to go to Denmark as an au pair is that I want to get to know the European way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my English skills as well.


I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an interesting and exciting year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
