Dear Future Host Family,


I am Melicent, twenty three years of age, I was born on October 29, 1995. My hometown is in Poblacion Antique, Philippines. My father works in the office while my mother is a housewife.

I am the eldest in the family. I have two sisters and a brother who are still studying. I use to live with my family but when I started my college I transferred to Manila (Philippines Capital) and there I live on my own, I learned to be independent, strong and hardworking. I used to babysit in my neighbor baby and do some house chores on the evening while studying at daytime. It’s a big help to me in terms of paying my project and my daily allowance.

After college graduation I work in the office as office staff but the salary is too low so I decide to try my luck abroad. Right now I am working in Hong Kong as Domestic Helper. I am helping the family to their daily lives. Mostly housekeeping and some babysitting. I clean up the whole apartment. Replenishing linens, making beds, changing curtains, cleaning bathrooms, doing the laundry, some cooking and making table and washing the dishes. On babysitting I accompany the kid to school bus and fetch after school.

I am Trustworthy, attentive to your any instruction, loyal person and flexible. I want to be an au pair because I believe I have the passion and the right attitude to become a good and efficient Au Pair.I love children, I’m happy when I make them smile and laugh and it’s so fulfilling when I have the chance to take care of a child and make the child fall asleep. I’m an organized person I want everything to be clean and in order like in our house I’m very particular in the cleanliness and orderliness. I want everything to look good and pleasing to everyone’s eyes.

I’m praying and hoping to meet a kind and wonderful host family that will treat me well and will understand me. I hope to have a good relationship with them, to be a great help on their houses and in taking care of their child. I to hope to find I a host family in Europe that would be my second family.
