KAMELLE, 27 JAHRE

Dear Host Family,

Good day!

I take this privilege to introduce myself to your family as your perfect match Filipino Au Pair. I am 23 years old
female and a Filipino citizen that is currently living in Philippines. I graduated a Bachelor of Science in
Industrial Design last school year 2018 month of March. I am the youngest of four siblings. The eldest is 30,
female, she has her own family now, second is 28, male, he is still single and has his own stable work, the third
is 27, male, still single and applying for a long process for the job intended. My father is now 68 years young
and my mother is 60 years young.

And this is my story.

Before, during my college days, I already took a responsibility to take care a 1-year-old child from my elder
sister every time she was out and had something to do in her work even though she was on maternity leave
that time. More of the time i would be with my nephew every afternoon, half of the day. With those entire
situation, even if I don’t have the experience, I had to be matured and initiative and taught me on how to take
care of a child. From feeding a milk, playtime, take them to a nap and clothing/dressing. And that time I
discovered that I am very genuine when it comes to child/ren and so on it didn’t give me a hard time to be with
children. It did stopped after a few months later when my sister had to get a babysitter because she had to go
to work full time and that time I already have to go on OJT (on-the-job-training).

After a one year of working away from my family, I decided to resign from my work. So I had to go back from my province. Since I am unemployed, randomly (straight until now) when the babysitter of my sister is on leave, I am the one will babysit my nephew which is a 2 ¾ yrs. Old now and he has a baby sister now. From that time on I am taking care of him from waking him up to feeding, bathing, playing,
take him to a nap, up until to bedtime. And the best thing is every time he go to sleep I have a lullaby to him
and he easily go to sleep, the “you are my sunshine song”.

And in terms of cooking and light housework, I am very experienced person, since I was in teenage life our
parents disciplined us to be responsible and to learn how to do household chores. And my parents know how
to cook and they taught us for the basic meals. And also I really love to watch cooking videos and sometimes I
try it actually. I love doing different types of pancakes like simple, banana, chocolate, blueberries and many
more. I also love to cook fry’s and grilled. Since I was a kid up until now, we have these two genuine dogs
Sometimes I am the one to feed them they’re very active pets.

From all of those years that I am with him, it feels genuine and I found the true happiness being with children. It
is very rare to find a job like this, for me it is not a job it is life – a gift of life. That is why when someone
introduced me this Au Pair Program I am very glad to hear this. Ever since, my dream really is to travel Europe
Countries and to live their beautiful culture, amazing places and interesting
lifestyle and a great people.For me maturity is to live independently on my own way. This is what I am praying for that god
help me find a way to reach my dreams. And then I knew this one has given me, which is Au Pair Program that
is very close to my heart and by this it helps me to reach my dreams to go to Europe countries.

My dear host family, I am here to deeply help you with all my heart in our everyday lives to make it
convenience. As your Au Pair, I am matured, Independent, Initiative, Honest, Patient, open-minded, easy-
going, and I love kids so much. I am hoping that we will click as one happy family. I will treat you and the kid/s
as my own family to love and care.
