CHERELYN, 25 JAHRE

Dear host family,

I am already excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.

My name is Cherelyn Dasoc. I am 21 years old and from the province of Bohol. I am living in a house that is located in an area of full of nature with my mother Conching (43) and nine(9) siblings, Van Kim(26), Lester(24), Dollyn(18), Anne(15), Joyce(12), Clarck(11), Shane(10), Zyrille(7) and Ziad(5) our youngest. We have two dogs Ruru and Chudie, who loves to play and cuddle all day.
My mother has a small business. Van Kim my oldest brother already graudated and currently working as a seaman. Lester, 2nd to the oldest is still in 4th year in college major in Aviation and also a working student. Dollyn, is a 1st year college student major in Education while Anne is still in 10th grade and Joyce is in 7th grade in secondary school. Clarck, Shane and Zyrille is still in 6th grade, 3rd grade and 1st grade in elementary while Ziad, our youngest is in nursery. Aside from my siblings, I also have over fifthy cousins (thats a lot, right?). So over all, we are a pretty large family.

I would describe myself as a reliable, open, organized, friendly, loyal, faithful and caring person who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends, they are - as well as my family - very important to me. I like listening to music, dancing, singing, playing baseball and cooking. Playing baseball is one of my sports especially during my highschool days and given a chance to be part of the players to compete with different school.
I also love and enjoy my passion in cooking. While in college i choose a course connected to cooking which is BSHRM (Bachelor in Science major in Hotel and Restaurant Management). But even though i had to temporarily stop going to college due to financial problem, my passion and love to cooking and being able to finish my studies are still high and full. Furthermore, I enjoy also reading a good book and singing, - even though im not that good in singing.

At the moment, I work as a nanny here in Cebu to my oldest brother's(Van Kim) daughter(Annika) who is a Four(5) years old turning five(6) this coming august and currently in kindergarten. I am the one who escort and fetch her at school. While at school, i got a chance to meet her classmates and schoolmates who also became my friends. I also attend my niece school activities and help and teach her how to write, draw, read numbers and letters and a lot more.
Taking care of my niece and guiding her is also what i always do to my siblings. Before, when I was in elementary and highschool and still living in Bohol with my siblings, as their (ate)older sister i take care and guide them always even until now though im far from them.
I enjoy every moment Im with children, they are fun to be with, to talk to, laugh and play with them.

The reason why i want to go to your country as an aupair is that I want to get to know the foreign way of life.
Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care your children. Also we can learn much about the different cultures from each other.
And ofcourse to have an unforgettable year, fun, good communication and bond with your family and to improve my english skills as well.

I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids.
