Dear Host Family,

Thank you very much for taking time reading my letter and for giving me the chance to introduce myself to your family.

My name is Elaine Ramos Dela Peña currently living here at Pampanga, Philippines. I am 21 years old and just finish my Bachelor of Physical Education major in School Physical Education degree last April 2018. I have professional training in various sports like badminton, volleyball and basketball.

I came from a typical family with a very simple lifestyle living in a home full of love, laughters and respect. Eating, watching movies and chatting together is our typical family bonding. My parents’ priority is our education, that’s why we really focus on our studies.

I want to become an Au Pair to broaden my horizon like to learn other language and experience new culture through my host family and to see beautiful places outside my country. I am very passionate when it comes to child care that’s why I took up Education degree. Since I am the eldest I help my mom in taking care of my siblings, she taught me how to prepare and cook food, wash and iron clothes and other household chores. I also serve as a tutor to my siblings and other cousins that lives near us. I help them with their home works and revising lessons for their exams. I did my school internship for almost a year in a public school in our province where I was assigned to teach Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health to students ages 13-15 years old. In this internship I learned a lot of valuable things especially getting along well with children.

If you will choose me as you Au Pair, I guarantee you that I would be a big help to your family, because I am person who gives importance to family values, I am easy to be with and can adjust well to a new environment. I am a very jolly person who loves hanging out and play outdoor games with family and friends. I can help you organise your home by cleaning, doing laundry and ironing. I can help you prepare meals like salads, soups, pasta, i am a good cook and a food adventurous i love to cook and trying different cuisine every now and then. i know how to cook chinese, italian, and of course filipino cuisine, i can bake simple cake and cookies.. I can help you with your kids to prepare them for school and can pick and play with them after school and can help them to practice their English language through daily conversation and for your child safety I have a first aid training course in my college.

additon to my experience during my school days i am a working student in a rich family in our city i do almost all house hold chores like dusting, vacuuming, washing floor and organize things i also the laundry and cooking for them sometimes babysit at night when their parents is out.
