Dear family,

I am currently an Au Pair in Årnes, Norway and I’m looking for a new host family asap. I arrived last month, June, and we decided that I should find a new family because we can’t find any chemistry between us.

About me:
I can work easily with written schedules for the week based on my experience with my previous
host families in Denmark and I love dogs. I can watch over or babysit your kids in the future and I will try my best to learn some of the basics (language) so that I can understand your children.

More about me:
You can call me Bonn for short, I am 27 years old. I am the eldest in the family, I have two younger brothers, 25yo who has 2 kids(both girls: 3 and newborn), 17yo who’s studying in 11th grade. My father is a police officer while my mother is a teacher, they are both 49 years old and we also have a dog named Butchoy. We are a family who really loves dogs(so dogs are not a problem for me). We also love to go to the beach and explore a lot of beautiful places in the Philippines.

It is my first time being an au pair in Scandinavia and first time living away from my family. Furthermore, I have lived with my elder cousin in the Philippines while I am studying and staying free at her house. In exchange of living free, I had to look after the twins and the house. I am studying in the morning and in the afternoon and be home around 16.00 where my cousin also leaves for work because she was a call center agent working at night til dawn. There is no au pair scheme in the Philippines but it is very common that family members help other family relatives especially when it comes to studies and a house to stay. I lived with them for a year and went back home after and continued my studies.

I studied Civil Engineering in the Philippines which takes 5 years to finish but I only studied for 3 1/2 years and became a Technical Draftsman(because it’s a ladderized course in the Philippines and if you finished 3 years out of 5, the school will give you a certificate of completion as a technical draftsman). Prior to that, I also studied Nursing for 2 1/2 years but didn’t finish it because of some financial difficulties and education in the Philippines is not for free.
