Dear family,

My name is Daisy T. Tan. I’m 25 years old and single. I was born in San Roque, Macrohon, Southern Leyte, a province in Visayas, Philippines which was the place where I spent most of my life. Now, I'm currently working as a Domestic helper in Hongkong for 2 years. My contract will soon come to an end and I would like to apply as an Aupair in Europe to explore and to experience a different culture.

It is tough being a nanny because their parents are always busy or even out of the country, but I was able to manage because of my flexibility when it comes to children. In the morning, at around 5:30, I wake up to prepare the kids for school. In the afternoon, I run errands for my boss and do household chores such as cleaning the house, washing the clothes and the dishes, buying groceries, fetching the kids from school and cooking meals. In the evening, I feed them dinner and tuck them into bed so they can be ready for school the next day. On weekends, we often relax at home, swim in the rooftop pool, or go on outing.

My goal is to explore more opportunities for myself, but first I need to enhance my skills and grow as a professional. I intend to join seminars and trainings to expand my knowledge in other fields. Then I will be able to gain more experience so I could apply for a better job.

I am very conservative and respectful, being raised by strict elders. During my free time, I like jogging and staying fit by going to the gym. I cook and do chores quite well. I like working fast and productively, so I can save time. I like to follow the rules. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, listening to music, watching movies, reading books, and playing chess.

I want to continue working as a nanny because I have a sincere love and interest in children. Once I find a new family, I will be loyal and responsible.
I have fun with children, and they give me the opportunity to be imaginative and creative. I like the variety offered by the job, helping children grow, explore and learn about life, and the positive responses and appreciation I receive from the whole family.

As a nanny, one needs to develop a sense of trust, show understanding and patience, respect the family, form a bond, and consistently promote the child's development and well-being.

I hope I can meet a host family that match me. :)
