MICHELLE, 30 JAHRE

Dear Family,

I will start my letter by greeting you a good day. I hope my family letter finds you in good health.

Let me introduce myself, I am Michelle L., Filipina, 23 years old and single. I am from Mayantoc, known as the “Summer Capital of Tarlac” in the Philippines. I finished studying college at Tarlac College of Agriculture with the course of Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I have a simple, happy and contented family. I describe myself as hardworking, industrious, honest, responsible, obedient, humble and have faith in God. During my free time, I like cleaning the house, bonding with the kids and playing badminton and volleyball. Because I studied Psychology, I know how the science of behavior and mental processes so I know how to handle, manage and understand child/children. I love kids because they are natural and fun to be with. I really love watching a child progress and I feel honored to be a part of their growth. I am active in performing household chores and I enjoy it.

I am working as a House Maid since May 2013 until now. I am doing all the house duties and taking care of 2 girls named Noriza Mae- 6 years old and Shekinah Grace- 3 years old, they are both lovely and adorable. Their parents are working full time. My daily tasks are to go to wet market to buy food, cook food for the whole day, setting the table and cleaning up after eating, wash the dishes, do the laundry, ironing of clothes, do the general cleaning of the house like mopping the floor, sweeping, vacuuming, tidying, organizing, changing curtains, towels and bed linens, dispose the garbage, and some gardening. Feed the kids, bathe them, dressing up the kids with nice dress and put nice accessory and put powder, Noriza Mae is already in studying in Kindergarten so I am the one bringing her to daycare and pick her up after classes in the afternoon, help with homework, play with them, read bedtime stories and accompany them when they want to go to parks and zoo.

I want to work as an au pair because I want to learn European culture and language, to explore their beautiful places and know their lifestyle and I want to help my mother and give her needs and to earn money so I can buy things I want and to pursue all my dreams and most importantly is to help a host family who needs a helping hand.
