Hello Dear Family,

My name is Karen, 27 years old and now living and working here in Singapore as domestic helper. I’am single and unmarried. My father is Rafael and he is a farmer, my mother is Lydia a housewife. I have 7 siblings, 2 brother and 5 sister and I’am the fifth child among 8 children. I’am high school graduate and I never get the chance to go to University because of lack of money. I studied elementary in Anonang Elementary School and my high school in Anonang National High School.

I had a lot of experience in Domestic work in the Philippines, taking care of babies and children. And here in Singapore I take care of baby and 4 years old. I love taking care of kids because they are so adorable and they are also my stress reliever. I also do the cleaning and cooking in the house. Washing the dishes and washing clothes. I’am very hardworking person, I want the best for my family. I’ am working hard for my family especially to my father because I want him to stop his job because he is too old already. I love dogs and cats. We have dogs and cats here. The dog’s names are whitey and boomerang, and the cat is named Nami. I dislike dirty house and disorganize and that is why I always make sure the house of my employer is always clean. I quickly get the broom and vacuum cleaner. I dust it and mop the floor.

I want to be Au Pair is to have a good working environment here in Singapore I experience only 1 day off a month, sometimes less food and sleep less. I hope to experience snow and the culture in Europe.
