Hi Host family!

My name is Mel, 29 years old, living in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines with my family. I have 2 younger brothers, my mom is house wife and my father is ret. policeman. I finished Bachelor of Science in Information Technology year 2013. I had job experience before that is related to my course but I decided to apply as an Au Pair because wanted to explore and experience new places/another country and their cultures, that is one of my dream and goals in life. Aside from that I am fond of children and like to spend time taking care of them. I am single and no children yet but have an experience being as an Au Pair here in my place. In my college days its my part time job to work with other family while studying. For 4 years with them I treat them as my second family. Their family is big, 9 members all. I am taking care of their youngest since the day she was born until she's now 4 years old because my host mother is working. Since I am being part of the family aside baby sitting I also help cleaning the house make it tidy, clean and arranged, wash dishes, and prepare food for the kid and send her to school and wait there till her class ends. I also help the kid with her assignments and play with her as well. I am thankful having them as my host family for trusting me and making me feel that I am part of it.

To my future host family, my respect is humbly given to your family. I am friendly and easy to get along with, approachable, patient and responsible. Flexible in dealing with people with a kind heart. I also know how to first aid based on my experience and knowledge. I like to learn new things and open to talk with. As an Au Pair I can do laundry, dish washing, cooking, cleaning, etc. that could help you in your daily needs.
