Dear My Future Family,

I'm Shiendy Mary 18 years old I come from Tambaliza Concepcion Iloilo but currently im living in Jaro Iloilo which is the place im working right now. I graduated as a Healthcare/ nursing aid in Iloilo Doctors' College batch 2014-2015 and now working as a private personal assistant for almost 1 year. So i'm looking forward to find a job and new place to work.

I come from a big happy family of 7: my parents Gina and Rafael, my eldest sister Ruthvic 33 years old which currently working in Maldives followed by Janice which now travelling around the world a seafarer. Gretchen and Nadia which is now in Dubai, my only brother Khino 25 years old who is foodtech, then Rufa 24 years old and me.

In about a year or two I plan to pursue a masters degree, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting.

When it comes to child care experience, I've been helped my sisters look after my nieces. I have 8 lovely and handsome nephews.We organized with them some recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played, draw, painted, and narrated stories. Sometimes we visited at the public library, the local animal park and went out on picnics. I'm also the one who prepared their nutritious meal, dressing them up, assisting them to take a bath and bringing them in school. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.

When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book and most of all I love swimming sometimes i trained children how to swim.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months or 1 year. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 6 months to 10 years.
