ANGEL, 33 JAHRE

Dear host family,

first of all, I would like to thank you for reading my letter and spending time on getting to know me better. We never met – so I hope the following lines will give you an impression about me, my life in Philippines and why I would like to spend a year in your country. My name is Angel, I am 25 years old and I’ll become 26 on July 28th. My friends describe me as an open-minded, funny, spontaneous, sportive and creative person. Laughing is one of my favorite things to do, I am an optimistic person and I’m always making the most out of every situation. I’m living together with my parents. Both of my parents raised me to be a creative, loving, honest and responsible person with an own opinion. In fact, I love them all so much and you cannot put us all together in a room without having a really funny, good time. My family and I, we live in a small town . I spend a lot of my free time there, going to the movies, shopping or just hanging out with some of my friends. Besides my friends I also have some other interests, and music is one of them. I always did a lot of sports like volleyball, badminton, lawn tennis. In addition I love to go to the gym. Probably you will ask yourself why I want to be an Au pair. I think it’s a great opportunity to meet new people, getting to know the „American way of life“, improve my English and make new experiences. It’s not that I don’t like my life here in Philippines, in contrary, I will miss my family and my friends for sure. But I know that the experiences of one year or so with you will be more than worth leaving my normal home. I am so excited about the stay and I hope I‘ll be able to show you something about the Philippine way of life. As I love cooking I could also cook Filipino meals for you.
