I am Rhevvie Joy C. Calungsod, 23years old, single and currently residing at Odi St. Pantua Village, Brgy. Zone 3, Koronadal City, Philippines.
I came from a family of 7. I am the eldest daughter Reynaldo (deceased )and Victoria an accountant in a private company in the Philippines.I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Catherine who is next to me is a Engineering student, followed by Brianne an accounting student, next Venus a 2nd year high school student and the youngest is Rayven a grade 3 student.
I'm a friendly, trustworthy, loves to play with children and a family oriented person. I love to read books, listening to music and playing games with my sibling. I love to play ball games, eat different kinds of food, and mingle with different kinds of people I rate myself as a friendly person. I am humble and easy to be with. I know how to cook, wash dishes, and iron clothes. I love to play with kids of different ages, take good care of them, and pamper them.Like others, I hate those people who are backstabbers, discriminating others and making stories out of nothing just to make their image good to others. But I know this is not a perfect world so I must be flexible in dealing with them and must accept the fact that I cannot please everybody. As an individual, I’m a person who love challenges. I am never a quitter and determined to finish what I started.
My child care experience started in our family. As the eldest and part of the Filipino culture, the eldest child has the responsibility in taking good care of their younger sibling when their parents are on work or if they are not with them. I usually babysit my younger sibling when I don't have class before. I'm responsible in preparing their meals, accompanying them when they take their bath, preparing their clothes and making sure that they are well and good and all their needs are well attended. Also during our family reunion, I'm responsible in taking good care of my younger cousins, nephews and nieces when their parents are busy preparing for our reunion.
Their are also occasion that one of my relative requested me to babysit their 5 years old and 2 years old children because they nanny have to attend important event.
I want to be an Au Pair to learn and experience different cultures and personalities of each person and to exposed myself in reality of life. I do believe that the opportunity of being an Au Pair would be a good environment where I can let my potential and skills be utilize and also I believe that this experience could teach me a lesson which I could treasure for a lifetime.
If you allow me to be part of your family I will do the same things what I did with my family. I am willing to be trained. I know I am not as excellent like others but I can give all my best to satisfy the needs of my host. As a Filipina woman, my culture shows much love and dedication to my family. I believe that being an Au pair will give me an experience I could not forget.
