LAURA, 25 JAHRE

I am Laura, 25, from Manila, Philippines. I studied Journalism and currently teach English as a foreign language online (part-time). I have three sisters older than me. They're all based in Manila and have their own family and kids. During my free time, I read books, mainly non-fiction and personal development. I enjoy cooking Asian food and am always curious to learn other cuisines and learn more about cooking. I am also into outdoor activities such as hiking, walking and exploring parks. Recently, I learned how to ride a bicycle, which I greatly enjoy! My interest in Art is intense. I love visiting museums and galleries and hope to learn more about painting and architecture. I believe that language is information, and information is everything, so I am learning Dutch and am very open to learning other languages. I have lived in Morocco for three years, teaching English. I have experienced being hosted by American and French families and helping them with their kids when needed. I have been based in Breda, Netherlands, as an Au Pair since January 2024. My host family has an 11-year-old daughter and a cat. I helped with the light household chores, grocery shopping, and laundry and made breakfast and dinner for them. Being in my 20s is my advantage because I am adaptable and open-minded. I can offer the skills I've gained as a part-time teacher and babysitter. I can teach your kids English whenever needed, and I could also guide them and assist them with their homework and fun activities like playing and developing their skills and talents. I look forward to being with a family with the same values and open-minded interests. I hope to stay longer with one Family at a time because I believe understanding behaviour, cultures, Language, and differences takes time. In the future, when time and resources permit, I would love to continue and obtain a degree in humanitarian Law and get more involved in Humanitarian affairs. Laura
