NAMASTE AND HELLO!

My dear future hostfamily,

My name is Indira . I am 25 years-old(female), a Nepalese student and professionally a Teacher.I actually belong from Udayapur,Nepal but I am living here in Kathmandu,(capital city of NEPAL) with my familypal is an extremely beautiful country rich in diversity, geography, scenic beauty, cultures and religions. My family consists of my parents and my two younger brothers and my elder sister who is already happily married. My father and mother,both are self-employed. My both brother are attending a Boarding school.

I am persuing my studies for Master in Business Studies. I have already completed my Bachelor's degree programme from SS Multiple College. After my classes, I go to my workplace in a School here near by. I have been working professionally as a Primary School Teacher for more than 2 years now. I am very fond of my job!:)I had always dreamt of being with children,educating them and attributing as much as I could from my side. Before that,I used to work as a Tutor for kids of different ages. That was the time I realized that , I adore children and love to spend my time with them . Ever since, I am actively anticipating for the children. As a Teacher, I have been multi tasking which includes :changing the kids' diaper for the lower and upper Kinder garten kids, dressing them, maintaining proper cleanliness and hygiene,proper discipline in a 'loving way', making them familiar with moral values, conducting Extra Curricular Activities for them, teaching them different subjects and many more!I work for 7-8 hours normally but whenever needed,my presence has always been there regardless of time.

After my work, in my home. I run household chores like washing, cleaning, arranging , preparing meals ,doing grocery shopping and gardening every now and thene my parents are busy with their shops, I am responsible to take care of my younger brothers. I assist them in their daily activites,help with their homeworks and other stuffs,give them company while playing...I adore and am proud to be their sister!:)Whenever I had time,I had babysat in informal contexts for my cousins. nephews and sometimes for my neighbors too or formally in the class Nursery of the same school where I am working.

My hobbies includes: cooking our own Nepalese food ,(I would love to learn to make other new dishes too),reading,playing different sports,traveling, visiting places and making crafts.I am an open-minded,easygoing,quite flexible,supportive, patient,tidy,reliable and trustworthy.I love pets too!!

I would love to take the Au pair programme as a golden opportunity for me to broaden the horizon of my knowledge which I have presently to a very different level.I would like to explore a different place,meet kind and loving people from different nation,culture and at the same time would love to interact with the children.I am very much looking forward to be like a big sister to the kids,would like to spend much longer time by taking care of them playing, babysitting or by doing any other recreational activities and helping my future host family as one of the member of their family.I understand the attribution towards things and know well that how it is when it comes about the kids!! :)Meanwhile, I would also love to share Nepalese culture , our traditions and am willing to make different Nepalese dishes would completely be an overwhelming experience for me.
