NORAIDA, 28 JAHRE

Dear future host family! What can I tell you about myself? I was born in Codazzi,Cesar which is an small town in the Colombian Caribbean region but I moved to Duitama, Boyacá where I live with my sister, her son and husband. We all have been very independent, loving and collaborative thanks to our parents, both farmers. I studied dramatic art at the Universidad el Bosque and after that I took a workshop in film and TV, practiced capoeira for several years and I also learned about Arabic dance, contemporary and ballet! I have worked as a recreational promoter with the SOLE Company with children from 5 to 10 years old, I did my professional internship at the USAQUEN School with children from 6 to 12 years old and I was volunteer in the AIESEC Organization in Mexico with children from 6 to 15 years old. These experiences has been the best! I have been learning and sharing with children for 3 years. In fact, when I was at the SOLE Company I carried out recreational activities, body expression, dance crafts in order to motivate, stimulate communication skills, creativity, coordination and concentration. I feel that working with children is wonderful, they constantly teach you how to love intensely and imagine answers that we could never suspect. Also, I want to add that I have also taken care of my nephews and children of friends, doing activities together such as preparing lunch, taking them to school, to the zoo. The reason why I decided to do this trip is the pleasure of making an adventure in another family atmosphere, be more perceptive and sensitive to cultural differences, lifestyles, teach my native language which is Spanish and discover another country because I really love traveling! I am very excited and motivated with this opportunity. Teamwork is easy for me, I am sociable and cheerful! In my free time, I like to go to the cinema, go to ride, go to the pool, talk with new people and be surrounded by nature. To be honest, Adventure could be my third name!
