CLAIRE, 22 JAHRE

Dear host family, my name is Claire, 19 years old from Kenya. I live in a small city with my parents and my younger sister. I come from a house that is often busy with pets, we have a dog called Nuru and a cat called Meow.When my sister was much younger ,I took care of her when our mum was working during school holidays and I still take care of her and my cousins. I have also been doing a little bit babysitting for a family with two kids ( 6 and 2 years ). Through this time , I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, teaching , cooking simple meals for them and playing games together.
I would describe myself as a reliable, friendly, organised and caring person who tries to make the best out of every situation . I graduated from high school in 2018 and I took a short term computer course some few months after high school. I speak fluent English and Swahili.
The reason why I want to become an Aupair is because I want to experience a new culture and way of life , learn a new language and I love kids. It will also be a great chance for me to spend an entire year taking care of children and living together as a family. I regularly take care of my sister and dear cousins and help them with homework, play games, eat together and sing together. I love spending time with children.
In my free time I love different kind of sports like rope skipping and hiking, listening to music, reading a good book, meeting friends and travelling. I also enjoy cooking simple meals for my family 2 to 3 times a week.
