FIDELIS, 27 JAHRE

My name is Fidelis Nyaruai Mwangi. I am twenty-three years old and reside in Nairobi, Kenya with my two younger sisters, Vivian and Maureen, and my mother, Margret Mumbi an amazing woman who goes to an extra mile to give us the world especially after my father’s death. She really is a gem. One thing I love about my family is that we are each other’s biggest support and best friends. And that’s one thing that’s hard to come across.
I would say am kind, loving, responsible, dynamic, understanding, open minded and amazing decision maker but most of all, my compassionate nature and friendly personality makes it easy to work with kids. And my calm and patient personality helps me manage difficult situations. Not only that, finding a balance between been playful and fun, and handling my responsibilities is not hard as I am aware there is always time for everything.

I also run a daycare center in my apartment that provides childcare services to the children of low-income student parents in colleges and universities. But at the moment due to Covid-19, colleges and universities are closed hence am selling masks and sanitizers and helping people protect themselves from Covid-19.
During the weekends when I am free, I volunteer in Angel’s Abandoned Children Center, an organization that rescues abandoned babies. Since their mission aligns with my desire to help children out, it’s always fun to volunteer in their organization.
I am also a co-founder of PTWA charity organization whereby after every three months we visit a children's home, take them food stuffs and whatever they need that we can afford. Plus, cooking for them a special meal and having so much fun that they feel loved and cherished.
I love taking care and working with children as it makes me happy and I would never trade that feeling for anything.
