My name is Vivian Wambui, a 20-year-old from the sunny city of Nairobi, Kenya. I come from a lively home with two siblings—a brother and a twin sister (yes, we do sometimes confuse people, but only in the most fun way!). I would describe myself as hardworking, reliable, flexible, and easygoing—basically the type of person you can trust with both your laundry basket and your little ones. In 2024, I worked as a nanny for two wonderful children (a 10-year-old girl and her 2-year-old brother), and in 2025 I babysat a curious 1-year-old boy. From school runs and story time to diapers and playtime, I’ve seen it all, and I genuinely enjoy being part of children’s growth and laughter. I’ve also volunteered in a daycare, where I helped kids learn how to read, write, and of course, have fun (because who said learning can’t include a little bit of hide-and-seek?). I’m also happy to help with housework, cooking, and even pets—so whether it’s a toddler or a puppy that needs attention, I’m ready! In my free time, I love cycling, hiking, swimming, and picnics (preferably with snacks that don’t get stolen by birds!). These hobbies keep me active, creative, and patient—qualities I bring when working with children. I’m very excited about the chance to be an au pair, where I can discover a new culture, share mine, and support a loving family.
