Dear Host Family, thank you for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Daniella and I am 25 years old. I'm a Cameroonian and leave in Cameroon.You surely get a lot of these letters from prospective Au Pairs, but rest assured, you will not regret to read about my reasons why I want to become your Au Pair.I am currently living with my mother, my 16years, 12years and 7years old brother and sister and a dog. My dad lives with his new wife and daughter half an hour away but I see him regularly. I'm a holder of Advance level certificate and at the moment, I do online sales of dresses, while I take care of home and my little ones. I can’t wait to explore more from the world and other countries afterwards! I have a valid passport and health wise perfectly fine, with no allergies or special diet. In my spare time, I love listening to music, sing, do videos with my phone, go to the park and have some fun, riding bicycle. For the past 4 months, I was responsible for entertaining and taking care of some 2kids. Their mom will bring them to our home in the morning and come get them by 2pm. The children and i had lots of fun playing hide and seek, doing face paintings, colouring and many more games.I also love reading, especially English novels. I can’t wait to have access to an English Library to browse through all the literature I like. I speak both English and French perfectly as they are my native languages. I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.I expect that in the first couple of days I will be exhausted at night because I guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you. Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things. - COOKING SKILLS: I am adept at preparing nutritious and balanced meals suitable for children. I believe in the significance of providing wholesome food that contributes to their well-being. - HOUSE KEEPING EXCELLENT: I take pride in maintaining a clean and organized living space. From tidying you up play areas to ensuring a hygienic kitchen, I am committed to creating a comfortable and healthy environment for the entire family. - PATIENT AND EMPATHY: I approach childcare with patience, empathy, and a genuine love for kids. I believe in effective communication and actively listening to their needs and concerns. - SAFETY FIRST: Your child's safety is my utmost priority. I am well-versed in basic first aid procedures and am vigilant in ensuring a secure environment at all times. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of your children while providing support in managing household responsibilities.
