Hello future host family,
My name is Desti,from Indonesia. Ever since I was young I knew I wanted to see the world. The culture,language,and lifestyle of other really fascinated me and so I learned English and I soon listening to english songs and learning from the lyrics. Growing up my mother is a single parent and she spent lots of her time working.I lived with my grandparents surrounded by my uncles, aunts and nephews which makes me used to taking care of little kids since my young age.
When I was 8, my mom had my younger sister and soon after I find myself being more independent.As I turned 11, I started helping mom taking care of my sister alongside my older sister while mom is working.
I am currently on Au Pair program in Sweden since January and I found the experience really fulfilling and resonates with what I currently want in life. In this program,I've learned so much and I developed on a personal level in which is why I would love to repeat the experience as an Au Pair after Sweden.
Before this Au Pair program, I mostly work in Hospitality industry as guest relations while sometimes I took nanny job too. I love working with children and they usually likes me too.
With my experiences and positive outlook towards life, I believe I will be the perfect Au Pair for your family :)
