RIYANA, 27 JAHRE

Dear Host Family, My name is Churiyana. Iam a 23 year-old (female) Indonesian. A year ago I graduated from State University Bandung in Journalism field. Altough I was lived at Bandung, West Java four years, but actually I come from Sidoarjo wich apart 685 km with Bandung. Iam getting used to lived by my self and far from my family and my friend in my town. When I was in college, I worked as journalist at Beritabaik Indonesia in Bandung about 8 months. So when I heve finished my study I decided to go back at my town in Sidoarjo, so now iam working as fontliner at Indonesia Postal Office Mojokerto. Which not too far from my home. I come from a family of 4: My mother, Diyah are bussineswoman, and she had a small chicken restaurant. And I have no Dad, my dad was passed away when I was 6 year-old. I have one sister and one brother, they are Vio and Ihza. My sister Vio is 18 years old and she gratuaded from high school last years, and now she wanna looking for some universities, but she decided to pause her wish, because she wanna looking for experieces at courses multimedia. And my brother Ihza still in primary school in my town. In about a year or two I plan to persue a master degree, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. To this end, I think spending a year aboard would be particulary interesting. My mother language is, absolutly bahasa indonesia. And iam also fluent in English. I started learning english at primary school, and it was also the language of intruction in secondary school I attended. In that adittion, Arabic is the second language intruction after English, so I have a basic level of speak Arabic. When it comes to child care experiences, I have looked after children when I still in college, in both formal and informal contexts. In 2015, I voluntereed at village hall to teach arabic for 5-8 years old children. So, at 2016 I started to teaching english privately for primary school, her name Agnes. She lovely girls, but I just have about 9 month to spent time with her, because the parents decide to move in another city. I have helped my parents look after my brother and my sister since they were birth. I am taking care my brother and my sister because my mom working at the center of my town. I can comfortably say that sincerly enjoy spending time with children. As far as preferences are concerned, iam looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with, and work for them at least 8-12 month. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 6 months to 9 years. Lastly, altough I am quite flexible, I would prefer to have working hours that would allow me to atend day time to take language classes. I would be happy to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences, to learn more about your family; your interest and to know more about what you expect from the aupair arrangement.
