Dear Host Family, My name is Rahel, and I am 23 years old from Indonesia. I am a cheerful, responsible, and open minded person who enjoys meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I graduated in Theatre, which helped me become patient, creative, and confident in communicating with others. I enjoy arts and crafts, storytelling, music, outdoor activities, and spending time with children. Although I have not worked as an au pair before, I have experience caring for children through both family life and creative projects. Since I was young, I have often looked after my younger cousins, helping them with daily activities, playing together, and spending quality time with them. I also worked as a mentor in a children's makeup workshop, where I guided children through simple and enjoyable creative activities. In addition, I was involved as a director in the musical theatre where I worked closely with child performers. I guided them during rehearsals, gave clear and simple instructions, and helped create an environment where they felt safe, comfortable, and confident. I also love animals, especially dogs, and would be happy to help care for pets as part of daily family life. I would love to become an au pair because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and supporting their creativity and development. I also see this as a wonderful opportunity to experience daily life in a new country, improve my language skills, and become part of a new family and culture.
