Dear host family, My name is Herlis, but everyone calls me Lisa. I'm 24 years old and I live in a small city called Tegal in Central Java. I'm a happy, friendly, and helpful person. I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology. I love to laugh and enjoy making others laugh too! I started taking care of my little sister, Reva, when I was 11 years old. Taking care of her made me realize how much joy it brings me to spend time with children. During university, I worked as a teacher at a preschool, which was an unforgettable experience. It helped me understand that I want to work with children in the future, maybe as a counselor. Apart from spending time with children, I also have a passion for cooking Indonesian food. It brings me great joy to share the flavors of my culture with others. In my free time, you can often find me playing music on my ukulele or keyboard. Music is a big part of my life, and it helps me relax and unwind after a busy day. I love exploring new cities and learning about different cultures. That's why I want to be an au pair - to work with children, be part of a family, and learn new languages and cultures. I'm a quick learner and I love making new friends.
