RATI, 25 JAHRE

Dear host family, My name is Rati from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I am 25 years old and now I am working as a teacher in a Japanese company operating in the education sector. I work from Monday to Saturday. In some cases, I go to school to teach, but I also get online classes. Apart from working as a teacher, I also work as a freelancer which is also involved in the education sector. In my free time I usually doing some things that I interested in, like listening to music, Singing, drawing and I like to learn some new things. I also enjoy traveling with my sister and my close friends. I can speak Indonesian and English. My English proficiency at an intermediate level. Currently, I am learning German and striving to obtain an A1 certificate as soon as possible. When I lived with my family, I often took care of my little niece. Additionally, children from my neighborhood would frequently come to play and study with both me and my sister. As a teacher, I engaging with numerous children. I strive to understand the unique characteristics of each child, learning effective ways to handle them. My goals in becoming an au pair are enhance my German skill and I want to know more about the culture of European countries, especially Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I would like to traveling around too. I hope I can learn many things during my time as an au pair, such as the culture, and to enhance my German skill through my host family and by taking courses. I hope I meet a lovely family and become a part of their family.
