OLIVIA, 22 JAHRE

Hello. My name is Olivia, I am 19 years old( turning 20 on June 5th) and I live in the region of Copenhagen in Denmark. I live with my parents, my two brothers and my little cat. I graduated from college in the Summer of 2020 and have been working until now. In college I studied biology and math on a high level. I like to spend my spare time with my friends, mostly experiencing things like going to the cinema or visiting outdoor places. I would really like to be an au pair abroad, because I like going on adventure, and experiencing things. I have spent my first period of my sabbatical year working in a store selling things for creativity and at a bakery, I would now like to try something else in my second year before starting on an education. My hope is that being an au pair in the USA will improve my English significantly, and at the same time it will give me more life experience. I am also very interested in getting to know a new culture, and I'm sure, that living in and being a part of an American family will give me a great opportunity for that. I am sure, that I will be a perfect match for your family, because I am very flexible and embracing. I love being around children of all ages. I have a lot of younger cousins, and I'm always enjoying my time with them. I am also very responsible, and you can truly trust me with your child/children. I like being active outdoors, but I can also sit calmly inside and do other stuff like playing games or watch TV. I qualify for the position, because I have a driver’s license, and I have a first-aid course. The course was mandatory during the course to get my driver’s license. I am a non-smoker, which most families appreciate. I'm very fond of animals, so additionally carrying for any animals the family might have, would not be a problem. From September to December 2020, I cared for a nine year old girl once a week. I cooked for her, helped her with homework, and most of the time I played with her. Unfortunately corona put an end to the babysitting as currently it is recommended that we stay in our own small corona bobbles. In a young age I've taken care of my younger cousins. In order to broaden my baby sitting experience, I am seeking jobs as a baby sitter in my home country, as the society in Denmark is slowly opening up and the opportunity for this gets easier, as more and more people are getting the corona vaccination. I am very responsible, and generally a well-liked accommodating young woman. After getting to know people, I am fun to be around. I keep a focus when challenging situations arise. I like doing outdoor activities, but I enjoy board games as well. I'm interested in sport, such as football(soccer), handball and tennis. At the age of 7 to 13 I have played football myself. One of my favorite things to do with my friends is going to the cinema, and the popcorn tastes really good :) I like making different dishes at home, and when going out to eat, I prefer sushi. After being an au pair, I would like to study, but currently I'm still investigating which path to take.
