JULIE, 23 JAHRE

My name is Julie and I am 19 years old, turning 20 in December. I live in a little town called Sakskøbing in Denmark. This summer I completed my HHX at a Business School in Nykøbing Falster, where I had an international oriented field of study and now I am ready for a Gap year. Right now, I have a Gap year where I just work part-time at a McDonalds to save money, but I have always loved traveling and wanted to go traveling and see the world in my gap year, but due to the circumstances, this is not an option. I have always thought that being an Au Pair abroad sounded like a great experience and so, I thought that it was a good opportunity for me to try something different and experience another country and culture.

I come from a family where my parents are divorced but still talk a lot together. I live with my mom, Rikke, and visit my dad, Søren, a lot. I also have two older brothers, Nikolaj (25-year-old) and Rasmus (23-year-old). But they are both moved away from home to study and work. I love to hang out with my friends and spending time with my family.

I am a very smiling person and I try to always be positive and to see the good in things, even in a bad situation. I talk a lot and I am a very bubbly and kind person. I would like to find a family where I fit in and are like a big sister to the kids, but also get all the job done.

You should know, that I have never been an au pair before and I have not worked with children before, but I have to small cousins, that I love to spend time with and I enjoy the company of children and I love helping out around me, and therefore think that I will quickly become good at being with other people's children. I am looking for new challenges that can give me a lot of personal experience and development.

In my spare time, I do a lot of activities and I love being active. I have trained gymnastics and dance since I was little and just recently stopped, but I still love being active, going for a run or bike ride.

I have had a driver's license since start 2017, but I haven't tried to drive on the left side or out of Denmark.
