ANDREA, 23 JAHRE

Hello! My name is Andrea and I will be finishing my A-Levels this year in July. I want to take a gap year after graduation and before enrolling in university, where I get to know a new culture and hopefully a new kind family. I have, despite my young age, a lot of experience of how to work with children. I used to work in a Jugendfarm and a Waldheim (both are programs in Germany, where children aged 6-10 can spend their holidays at) where I had to entertain and take care of children. I am currently in my last year in school and I tutor 2 girls (11 and 12) in my free time. Because I spend so much time with them (about 6-8 hours a week), I have also become their big sister. I spend a vacation with their family too, where I took care of the three children (they have a small son who is 5 years old as well). I have learned to be patient and kind through my several experiences with children, and I’d like to become an Au Pair abroad to even expand my horizon and get to know a new culture. I am very open minded and patient. I like trying out new things and getting to know new people. After being an Au Pair, I’d like to start studying in an university and becoming a teacher for gymnasiums. My preferred subjects are English and Philosophy.
