JOSEFINE, 23 JAHRE

Dear future host family!
My name ist Josefine but everyone calls me Fine. I am 17 years old but on the 4th of September I will be 18. I life in the North of Germany. I have three big sisters and two little sisters.
You must know that I am a Person who loves to travel around the world and get to know more about other cultures. For example a Australian, British or Irish culture.

In Germany, I live there in a house with a garden with my father Bernhard (50), my mother Katharina (50) and with two of my sisters Marie (19) and Mathilda (13). My biggest sister Lena (25) lives with her boyfriend and her son in there own flat. My other sister Pauline (23) lives with her fiance in there own flat too.

I finished the secondary school with the 10th grade. Unfortunately I was too young for an Au Pair year, so I decided to start a volunteer year in a shared flat for dementia patients. I‘m still doing the volunteer year right now! It’s definitely an exciting year as a volunteer.

At the moment I'm doing my driving lessons, which I'll have in my pocket at the start of my Au Pair Year!

I my free time I play drums, go to the gym, spend a lot time with my family to make some music or to sing together, to play games or just to go for a walk, meet friends in the cafe, cinema... and I also spend a lot of time outside for example with the children of my babysitter families on the playground.

Now I would like to tell you something about my childcare experiences. Most of the time I was babysitten for two families in my street. Both of them asked me if I can babysitting there children and I think you know my answer I sad absolutely YES! In the one family I took care of three girls they are 7,5 and 3 years old. In the other family I took care of three boys they are 10,7 and 2 years old. I took care of the children during the day but also in the evening. In the day time we go to the playground or in the garden on the Trampolin or in the sandbox. I love to spend time with them. They are so great!! I think your children will also be in my heart.

I would describe myself as a very reliable,flexible, family friendly, warm- hearted, friendly and trustworthy person.

Why I want to be an Au pair? The answer is easy.
I love kids. I love their smile when they are happy and when they show you that they like you. I love to see them growing up and I really enjoy spending time with them.
In my opinion, I think the Au Pair Job is the best opportunity to learn everything about an Australian/British/Irish family and how an Australian/British/ Irish lives like because as an au pair you are a part of the family‘s life.
