I'm 19 years old, from Berlin, Germany, looking for an AuPair family from the start of October on. Thank you for taking the Time to look at my Profile:) My Family: I have two older siblings, my sister Emma has completed an education as a childcare worker and is now studying social work. She is getting married this year and has also done an au pair and found it so great that I want to do it too. My brother Dustin is finally about to finish his medical studies. I like them very much because I can talk to them about everything and I do a lot with them even though they have already moved out. I currently live alone with my parents in a single-family house with a garden in Berlin. My mom Daniela works at the youth welfare office and my father Justus is the director of a daycare center. Since both work full-time, I help them a lot with household chores, such as doing the laundry, cooking, cleaning the kitchen, or buy groceries. Our cat Rosi and our two tortoises Madita and Gerd should not be forgotten. I love everything about my family, they are very tolerant, open-minded, temperamental, communicative and socially engaged. My Personality: I am a very open and communicative person. My friends always say that I am very honest and direct. I am also a very patient and reliable person who loves family life on the one hand, but also needs time for myself on the other. I am also very tolerant and respectful and love to discover and experience new things. Education and jobs: I am currently attending a special high school for social work, where I have subjects like pedagogy and psychology, and I will be graduating in two months. I currently have two jobs, one as a waiter in a restaurant and one as a bartender in a bar. I also babysit my neighbors' children (4 and 7) from time to time. I also worked for a large event company, where I worked as a service staff at one of the world's largest film festivals, the Berlinale. I want to study teaching for sports and English in October 2027. Freetime: I love sports, especially ball sports. In my free time, I play a lot of basketball, I've been in a club for many years. In addition, I often play football, volleyball and go road cycling and skateboarding. I also enjoy games of skill, I often play Diabolo or Kendama. I also just like to go for a walk outside and listen to music. Friends are very important to me, I do a lot with my friends and go out to eat or go on vacation with them. I'm very creative, I like to draw and to experiment with cooking.A year ago I bought my own small motorboat and now I often sail the waters of Berlin with my family and friends. My experience in Childcare: Through my school, I did a lot of internships in social areas, including one at a Montessori school, two in a kindergarten and a hospital intership at a day group with children with disabilities. As mentioned, I babysit my neighbors' children, which is my only direct babysitting experience. I have also worked at my dad´s Kindergarten several times the last few years and did workshops with the children. Languages: My native language is German. I also speak fluent but not perfect English, which I have been learning at school for 10 years. I studied Spanish at school for 5 years, but it only gave me basic knowledge, last year I was on an Interrail trip in Spain for a month and could communicate with some people, although very broken. My motivation: As mentioned before, my sister was an au pair in Barcelona and loved it, so I also got interested. I enjoy working with children and would like to learn new things, both as a child carer and culturally. I am very curious and would like to get to know a new country inexpensively, not just for two weeks but for a longer period of time, improve my language skills and do something good at the same time. All this is possible through an Au Pair and motivates me to become an Au Pair. Good to know: - no allergies - I eat everything - I have an international driving license
