Hello family, I am Yerlin, you can tell me Yer, I am Costa Rican, I am 21 years old and I am currently living in netherlands like a tourist. I am a nice person I like to meet new people make new friends, live new experiences. A year and a half ago I finished college I graduated with a middle technician in executive secretariat, I was working in an office for two seasons in a company that makes sugar, so I already have some experience working in office.
I am a simple person, I like to work and earn my money and buy the things that I want. Our parents have taught us to be independent so if I want something I fought to get it. I am kind, responsible, respectful, honest, helpful, proactive.
I love dogs in my house we have 2 and a cat, I also like cats but I prefer dogs they are full of love.
In my spare time, lately I have had a lot of free time due to quarantine. Well I like to go for a walk in the afternoons, play with the dogs and with my nephews, my family is big so I have many nephews I love them very much, I also like to watch marvel movies are my favorites, read, ride a bike, go to swim, to sing although my voice is not so pretty but I like to do it, lately I've been dancing so it's one of the new things that I like to do. I live in a town, so there are many green places, small mountains with streams, so from time to time I go with my brothers and take snacks, we have very nice moments in the middle of nature.
I want to be an au pair because I want to live a new experience, show myself that I am capable of achieving my dreams, I want to learn a new language, a new culture. Meeting other people, making new friends, improving my level of English, getting to know other cities.
I know that being an au pair you gain a lot of experience and maturity, leaving your country and facing a new environment makes me change the way of thinking and the way of seeing the world, we have new goals and being an au pair I am I'm sure it will go 100%, and this will allow you to have a better chance of getting a good job in the future. Being an au pair enables you to be a better person and that's why I want to be an au pair.
The family should host me because I am a simple person and I have no problem getting into a new life routine.
I have no problem with cleaning the house, I know that other cleaning methods are used in Europe compared to Central America but I am willing to learn, believe me I will do my best to keep the house in order.
I can cook, from breakfast to dinner not as a great Chef but I do it and in the best possible way. I am sure of myself that I can keep a house in order, obviously with children it can be a little difficult sometimes but with good organization everything is possible.
I qualify to be an au pair because I have experience taking care of children, I started working with children from the age of 15, my neighbor sometimes said to me Hey Yer could you come home and be with the boys and well I went, I helped them do the chores And they would prepare something to eat for them, their names Isac and Josue children, now they are grown up and living in another city, but Josue visits us a lot, I have great affection for them, I also took care of two children in another city, a baby and a 8 year old boy. years, with them I spent more time all day until the mother arrived at 18:00 during that time I was living with them because it was difficult for me to return to my town, so I spent a lot of time with them. I made them breakfast, lunch, I had to change the diaper for the baby, bathe him, make him live and make him fall asleep, all this was an adventure for me. That was last year. And well without saying the amounts of times I have had to take responsibility for my nephews, take them to school, go pick them up, help with school tasks, I have to leave them at home. Also 3 years ago I was working with children in the church that I attend, I put them to paint, draw, write, we told little stories.
Also a few months ago I was in the Netherlands as an au pair but only for 3 months I went as a tourist, I was with two girls and that little time was a really incredible experience. With the little experience with children I am increasingly convinced that just as they learn from adults, we must also learn from them, their love and innocence make us see things in a different way.
