EDELINE, 26 JAHRE

Dear host family,

I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.

My name is Edeline Baclado. Born on the 28th of December 1997. I am 22 years old from the Philippines and currently living in Lapu-Lapu City a 1st class highly urbanized city in the region of Central Visayas in the Philippines. I graduated with an Associate Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I have two siblings and I’m the youngest. I would describe myself as strong but sweet, independent,loving, reliable and caring person.

I am a pet lover, I love traveling and learning new languages. In my free time, I like to listen to music, playing guitar,swimming, and biking. I speak Bisaya, Tagalog, English and Basic Japanese because I worked and live in Japan for 1 year. I have been living far away from home for almost 5 years now, which requires me to learn how to fend for myself, and train me the independence. And I have been taking care of my niece and nephew until now. That is why I think I will not fail when it comes to housework and childcare.
The reason why I want to go in Europe as an au pair is that I want to get to know the Europian way of life as well as different cultures. And it would be great to learn another language and improve my English skills as well.

I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you.
Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
