BÁRBARA, 28 JAHRE

Dear family, My name is Bárbara Caroline, I’m 26 years old. I am from Brazil. I live in Lauro de Freitas - Bahia, a beautiful town by the beach where it is quite hot throughout the year. I’m single and I have a degree in Law. I’m a very organized, responsible, hardworking, self motivated and friendly person. I don't smoke, I don't drink and I live by principles acquired from my Christian family. In my spare time I go to church, I like to go shopping, to go to the movies, spend time with my family, friends and I love to cook. I live with my father Wilsival, my mother Rosângela, my twin sister Bruna, my brother Felipe and our two dogs, Julie and Bia. My father’s 46 years old, he’s a sales representative and a pastor. My mother’s 54 years old and she is a housewife. My sister is studying Medicine and my 24 year-old brother is in Business school. My experience with children started at the church when I was very young. I was a volunteer for many years in the children's ministry, working with children aged 2 to 7. I also helped take care of my younger cousins. I took a first-aid course. I have a driver's license. I decided to participate in the Au Pair program because in addition to being able to serve, I want to learn more about a new culture, improve my English and get to know new people. I chose Luxembourg, because it is a small country compared to Brazil. It has a different climate, and I will be able to learn more than one language. I graduated in Law wishing that someday I could help refugees. I hope to grow as a person with this experience and I am sure it will contribute to my professional growth as well.
